Monday 4th March

This morning we all sat down at our computers and John gave us a very random Small Basic challenge which he wrote on the board. what we had to do was get the turtle to draw a square and within that square the turtle had to draw a circle and then make circle inside that circle and carry that on till we had 10 circles all together. some how I managed to remember how to do a loop but as I remembered I was able to draw a square only using 4 lines altogether and when it came to the circles I was able to use two lines. I found this relatively easy once I calculated where I needed to place the turtle.
I think John is a wise guy for making us do the Small Basic challenges every morning as it seems to wake everyone up and get them thinking before they start work.

Today I carried one with the new unit which is Animation, I continued to on Assignment one task one part one, I have nearly completed this and will only need about an hour more on it then I think I will be done. I will aim to complete this task within the first hour of tomorrow so I can move on to part two in assignment one task one.
I may have done work on Animation now but I feel I will need to research more into the animation techniques to fully understand them all so I can further complete work in this unit.

After I had done work on the Animation unit I moved on to completed COM assignment one task two P8 which I had to update and add some more in to that task. I completed it and sent it back to John so he could mark it.
Tomorrow I will aim to complete any outstanding work or updating I may have so I have the Communication and Employability unit over and done with, which will enable me to concentrate a lot more on the animation unit.

Overall I enjoyed today as I really liked the Small Basic task and I think I am getting used to Programming in that so hopefully by the time the programming unit will come around I will be able to complete work with ease. Today I learnt about different types of animation and what companies are involved in Animation.
