Tuesday 12th March

Today there was still no return of TED Tuesday, very disappointed!! I had watched the video the day before and I was raring to go and ready for the test. The Ted video was about the discovery of the Giant of the what once thought to be made but in actual fact it is real THE GIANT SQUID. The people who have found the giant squid were very lucky to actually get it on film as it seemed to be a very mysterious creature that had never been caught on camera. here is the TED video for anyone who want to see the mysterious giant LINK

Instead of the Ted test this  morning we watched a very interesting but sad animation short film called Invention of Love. This video has over 4 million views. When watching the video it makes you feel sad inside because of the story line and the music. The whole video was about a guy who invented things for a living, he then met this women and fell in love with her. The guy and the women who he fell in love with moved to this city were everything was mechanical and completely man made. it was a place that no one has every seen before.
The women who he fell in love with was absolutely sick of the city and wanted to change it by restoring some of its natural beauty and nature but unfortunately she died trying due to all the pollution that came off a flower when she blew on it. They was incredibly depressed and very disheartened about the whole situation. He then came up with the idea to reincarnate her by build an exact replicate of her from gears and bolts and made a heart that would stand out.

Once the video was over even though it is very sad it is an excellent animation. This is very professionally done and must of taken them a very long time to create it all. The music fits very well into the short film and adds that extra thing to make it perfect as you can really feel the sadness of the man from the music.

After we had all watched the video I cracked on with some work. I continued with Animation Assignment 2. I believe I have finished the task but I want to read through the whole thing before I send it in because I want to check I have the right amount and relevant information.

Overall today was yet one of those nice and relaxed full of work days, which I enjoy as I am able to get lots more work done without rushing things to quickly.
